Booking Terms and Conditions

Making a booking

For any enquiries we welcome you making contact with us by phoning on 01434 681 325. Actual bookings for a tour or day tour are only accepted via a completed booking form.

Payment for a holiday

A deposit of £35.00 per person is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is to be paid approx 8 weeks prior to your holiday. Day tours are to be paid in full at the time of booking.

Changing a booking

After we have received your booking form we will do our best to accommodate any changes you may want to make but we cannot guarantee to do so.

Have a complaint?

If you have a complaint during your holiday you should tell a member of our staff at the earliest opportunity so that they can do their utmost to resolve the problem immediately.

Minimum Tour Numbers

It is essential for there to be a minimum of 20 passengers in order to operate a tour. If the minimum number is not achieved the tour may be cancelled no later than 4 weeks before travel. In this case all monies will be returned.

Passenger behaviour

The coach driver/representative is entitled to refuse you boarding if in their reasonable opinion you are unacceptably under the influence of drink or drugs or you are being violent or disruptive.

No smoking policy

We operate a strict no smoking policy on all of our coaches, however frequent comfort stops are made especially during longer journeys.

Special Diets or Special Requests

These requests must be stated on your booking form at the time of booking. We will notify the relevant persons however we cannot guarantee these they are on a request basis only.

Changes to the Itineraries

Excursions are detailed within each tour however we reserve the right to change the order of excursions, to suit weather or traffic conditions prevailing at the time. We also reserve the right to alter/amend itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control.

Special Assistance

It is your responsibility to notify us at the time of booking if you or any member of your party needs any special assistance. We will try and accommodate these as far as possible and inform the hotels of these needs. Please note that not every tour or hotel may be able to accommodate yours needs however we will advise on which tours we feel would be more suitable.

Insurance

We do not supply you with insurance therefore it is up to you as an individual to arrange this. We will not take any responsibility for this.

Cancelling a holiday

You, or any member of your party, may cancel at any time. Please see below for our cancellation policy.

Cancellation policy

We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to low passenger numbers, in this case all monies paid will be refunded. We can recommend a company for holiday insurance however we do not provide this for you. It is therefore up to as an individual to arrange this. AA Jewitt & sons will not take any liability for this.

You and your party can cancel your holiday at anytime by phoning the office or in writing. We will retain your deposit for administrative fees and if any further correspondence is needed from us this may entail further administrative fees for you. If a holiday is booked within 6 Weeks full payment is needed at the time of booking.
