Wentworth Woodhouse & Newby Hall

Join us on this tour to visit one of the grandest Georgina stately homes in the country. Explore the state rooms and  beautiful ball room, or wander around the 50 acres of tranquil gardens, wildflower meadows, ancient trees and historic  plants. It truly is a hidden gem. Also included in this tour is free time in the beautiful town of Holmfirth and a  visit to Newby Hall & gardens.

Cedar Court Hotel

This beautiful hotel is located on the outskirts of Halifax making it a perfect base for this tour. All modern rooms are  ensuite offering TV, and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel also offers a lovely bar and restaurant area for you to  enjoy.

Day 1: We depart and make our way to the picture postcard town of Holmfirth. Renowned not only for its beautiful  scenery, independent shops and cafes but also where Last of the Summer Wine was filmed. Free time will be provided  before making our way to the hotel.

 Day 2: Today we have the full day to explore Wentworth Woodhouse and grounds. We will then head back to the  hotel in time for dinner.

 Day 3: After breakfast we head home stopping at Newby Hall & gardens enroute. This elegant 17th Century house is  set in 40 acres of beautiful gardens which are truly stunning. Free time will be provided here before arriving home late  afternoon.
